That was a fine story, reminiscent of THE SIRENS OF TITAN (a Vonnegut novel where the planet of Tralfamadore advanced to the point where robots did all the work and all the thinking). Those robots, ignoring Isaac Asimov's "rules for robots" kill all the humans and become the sole residents of the planet.

Synchronistically, NPR had a report the other day about the growing proliferation of Sex Robots. According to NPR, people will need to invent reasons to leave their homes because of these modern new toys.

When computers first became popular, some imagined that it would bring in a new renaissance and great advances. Instead, we got PornHub.

Humans were created to have imagination and creativity. Unfortunately, we are still animals.

I keep thinking about the Pixar movie WallE. I keep wanting to trust the machine but I think our primal nature knows we are engineering our downfall. Lobster hierarchy and all that. This was really good though. Almost like Bicentennial Man in a way.
